Clay's Sound Emporium
Another outlet seeking to conquer the world through export of American culture.
I have gathered a few of the best wavs the Net has to offer and digitized many of my own that I think are funny. I also give some links to the finest sites I have found in my travels. I hope you find that your time here is well spent. Keep your arms inside the car at all times, and no spitting.

For those of you that don't know how to download to your computer, click on the sound with your right mouse button and choose "Save Link As" (or some similar wording) from the resulting drop-down menu. MAC users, hold down the ALT key and click on desired sound file (I'm really not sure if that works, but that's what a MAC guy told me).

If you wish information about the owner of this site (me), this link will do.

Now, for something completely different.

If you're looking for a great Web portal to use as your home page, or just need a jumping off point to meet your Web searching needs, have a look at

External Hard Drive

It has links to fit almost any need, and multiple search engine funtions right on site. If you find a great resource while off site, let the Webmaster know so he can add it to the mix. That kind of input from users is what makes External Hard Drive so valuable to so many. Give it a look.

There is a place I know that begs a visit. The man running this site has a master plan for sound archiving. From the historically significant to the humorously absurd, this site has sounds to fit every taste. The only constant at this site is that it is ever-changing. If you are interested in major sound downloads of top quality, and have an ear for intriguing audio, you'll be rewarded with a visit to

EarthStation1!

Are you looking for themes? There is only one place you need to look

Wav Theme Songs Home Page

If you're looking to score themes from movies, TV, or beyond, Ed Jones has your fix.

If you want to find anything at all on the Web, it pays to use a good search engine. There are many to choose from, but I prefer

Google

Just type in the name of what you're looking for, such as "Scooby Doo wav", and Google will come back with loads of sites with wav files of Scooby (or whatever you type in) in just a few seconds.

I believe The Web should be free. Another site with that same philosophy is

The Free Site.com

It lists lots of free stuff available on-line, just the way it ought to be. Check it out.

A great place that movie buffs should not miss is

The Internet Movie Database

Type in any movie name and get back all the information you might need. Besides the basics, you can also see the on-line voters poll about each movie, viewer comments, trivia, goofs, etc. Also, you can vote and/or comment about movies yourself and add it to the database. An indispensable resource for those that love movies.
